Moving Voices UK

Moving Voices UK is the charitable arm of Bombo Productions established in 2018. Together with Dr Victoria Jassey and David Pattman, Moving Voices UK has a board of trustees Caroline Stagg, Sandra Morales Cordovez and Anoop Rattan who oversee the aims and objectives of the project. Moving Voices UK supports Female Survivors of Human Trafficking transition and integrate into the wider community through group singing by working with an established mixed-gendered, intergenerational choir, Coro de Clave. Participation in this project provides vulnerable women with the opportunity to explore creativity, build confidence, participate in live performances, engage in local social activities and develop community cohesion.

“I am a survivor of human trafficking. When I sing I forget my traumas. Since attending the choir, I feel like I’m part of a family This group is responsible for a big part of my healing process.”

Here is a recording from a collaboration with Amies Freedom Choir (a choir for young women trafficked into the UK for prostitution or domestic slave labour) and Coro de Clave Community Choir.
