Rhythms for the Orichas is a weekend of drumming workshops which focuses on three drumming styles that accompany song sequences for the orichas, the deities at the heart of the religion of Santeria. During this weekend we will learn support and lead parts for bembe, güiro and batá drumming. We will also learn how their rhythms accompany songs.
