Cuban Carnival 2012

 On the 8th October 2011, 32 percussionists and horn players with a love for Cuban carnival music gathered from far and wide. An almighty racket  thundered through the skies of Stoke Newington announcing....for better or worse the arrival of Orchestra Bombo, London's new large scale Cuban Carnival band...

Orchestra Bombo is made up of agrowing community of highly skilled percussionist, singers and horn players with a passion for polyrhythmic Cuban grooves. Taking inspiration from swinging Afro-Cuban carnival and folkloric music traditions, Orchestra Bombo presents the U.K with a new,unique, infectious sound.
